2026｜Not for Everyone

In the photography world, if you don't have passion, it can quickly wear you down.

Many people ask me why I choose film over digital. Isn't expensive to use film? Honestly, I hate to answer that question. Liking something just means liking it. Asking me why I like film is like asking someone why they like green instead of yellow. Some things don't need a reason. It's personal.

The texture of film, the grain, the feel is something a digital camera can never replace. Film is truly ART. The pixels are fundamentally different, so how could you even compare?

Since I was a kid, I've looked at old photos my parents took with film cameras. Each picture even had a red date in the corner. That sense of nostalgia is something many people are gradually forgetting.

This year, I hope to keep documenting everything from every perspective, pursuing what I truly love and capturing the world as I see it.

At the end of 2025, I started my YouTube channel, mainly to share little fragments of my daily life. Making money isn't the priority. It's more about expanding a part of my creative expression. I also plan to edit my photography process into videos, like BTS clips. At the same time, I will be able to learn some video editing skills, explore more possibilities for my creative work.

Sometimes I have so many ideas, but I don't know the best way to bring them to life. I've been thinking that words have a kind of power. Back to the days when I was in school, I really love Chinese class because I could write essays. Writing always let my imagination run wild. But as I grew up, I barely wrote. This year, I want to put my heart into writing again.
